Canistherapy is an alternative and supplementary treatment method. In my contribution, I present the application of the method in the diagnosis Angelman syndrome (henceforth AS). I demonstrate how canistherapy can positively affect and stimulate social behaviour and how it is possible to reveal a hidden potential of skills and capacity thanks to the action of canistherapy. In the case described, this was an intensive 7-day work with a client in the course of a summer reconditioning camp.
