Several notes concerning the development and orientation of geriatric (gerontological) nursingNursing

The contribution deals with the historical development of geriatric nursing under foreign as well as domestic conditions. It points out the still used imprecise terminology and describes three principal definitions of nursing elderly persons. It deals with the target and general scope of taking nursing care of elderly persons and with special education of nurses.
