In recent years, the social prestige of a job of nurses has been increasing. Her profession requires fairly high qualification and has benefits for the society. The aim of the work was to find out the occurrence of burnout syndrome in nurses working on neurosurgical wards and the impact of socio-demographic factors of nurses on the degree of their burnout syndrome.The set was formed by 74 nurses working on all neurosurgical wards of Moravia-Silesia region - Teaching Hospital Ostrava and City Hospital Ostrava.
